Princeps IP Check

The Princeps IP Check Extension introduces an additional layer of security by verifying the sender IP address prior to further handling of the request. Requests that are not submitted by an authorised sender (including in the X-Forwarded-For header) are automatically rejected.

NOTE: Use of this extension generally requires a controlled Reverse Proxy sitting in front of the application, to ensure that abuse is not possible via the X-Forwarded-For header. Contact us for further assistance in setting one up.

As an extension, this service cannot operate by itself and requires a supported Princeps application to attach to. Most Princeps applications that receive requests are supported - feel free to contact us to confirm the specific application.
